The afternoon after we went to Kiptopeake we decided that if the sun wasn't going to find us, we were going to find the sun. We succeeded! We drove across the Bay Bridge Tunnel to Virginia Beach, and the weather was divine. We stayed through sunset and had dinner, and it was all splendid. I must say, the crowded beach and city lights did make us truly thankful for our little slice of paradise over at the Baywood.
